I am diver. Certified in the dark and cold green waters of British Columbia.
Over the years, I have noticed a lack of our local PNW sea life represented in merchandise.
All the trinkets, shirts, and bags seem to promote the tropical aspects of diving; Whale sharks, Manta Rays, Hammerheads.
— None of which are in our local waters —
I wondered, with all the incredible sights to see along our coast, why aren’t we showcasing it?
Giant Pacific Octopus, Puget Sound King Crabs, countless nudibranchs and a vast variety of fish.

It’s about time we show some love and attention for the bright, colourful and sometimes strange marine life in our own emerald waters.
